Awards and recognition

ORIMA Research is at the leading edge of the Australian industry in terms of research quality and delivering valuable outcomes for clients.

Our contribution has been recognised through a number of key quality awards, including:

  • In 2006, the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) launched its Research Effectiveness Awards. The AMSRS received 39 entries. ORIMA was selected as one of 3 finalists for the Award for Contribution to Communications Strategy Effectiveness for our communications research for the Australian Government’s Support the System that Supports You campaign.
  • In 2007, the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) was awarded a United Nations Public Service Award in the category of improving transparency, accountability and responsiveness in the public service for the APSC’s State of the Service Report. ORIMA Research assists the APSC in producing this report, including collecting information for the report via:
    • an online survey of all Australian Public Service agencies covering a range of management and operational matters; and
    • an online survey of a stratified random sample of more than 9,000 employees from Australian Public Service agencies with 100 employees or more.
  • ComSuper’s client survey approach was rated ‘world best practice’ in an international benchmarking study of pension/superannuation fund administrators.

ORIMA Research conducts a cyclical member survey for ComSuper. The aim of the survey is to obtain regular feedback from the members of the superannuation schemes that ComSuper administers on the services it provides and inform ComSuper’s organisational improvement processes.

A key part of the cyclical survey methodology is the quality service index, which helps to identify, prioritise and track organisational improvement initiatives.
