Senior Qualitative Research Consultant (Melbourne Office)
The Senior Qualitative Research Consultant position involves the following main duties:
- Business development, including establishing new client relationships and developing existing client relationships;
- Account management and client liaison;
- Managing qualitative research projects;
- Conducting qualitative research fieldwork (focus groups and interviews), including undertaking travel around Australia;
- Analysing, reporting and presenting qualitative research findings;
- Supporting Directors; and
- Supervisory responsibility for qualitative researchers.
The following skills/ attributes are required for this position:
- Outstanding client relationship management skills;
- Ability to contribute to business development and marketing;
- Strong project management skills;
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
- A high level of moderation / facilitation skills;
- A demonstrated capacity to effectively present research findings to clients;
- A systematic and insightful approach to the analysis of research data;
- A strong sense of personal responsibility, as well as good time management and organisational skills; and
- Ability to train and mentor more junior staff.
The successful applicant will need a good undergraduate or postgraduate degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience which has enabled the person to develop and demonstrate the abovementioned skills/ attributes.
Commencing salary package: negotiable depending on skills and experience of successful applicants. Indicative range: $90,000-$110,000 p.a.

Qualitative Research Consultant (Melbourne Office)
The Qualitative Research Consultant position involves the following main duties:

- Organising and facilitating qualitative research fieldwork (focus groups and interviews), including undertaking travel around Australia;
- Analysing, reporting and presenting qualitative research findings;
- Supporting Research Directors and other research consultants; and
- Supervisory responsibility for administrative staff and/or research assistants.
The following skills/ attributes are required for this position:
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
- A high level of moderation / facilitation skills;
- A demonstrated capacity to effectively present research findings to clients;

Research Analyst (Canberra Office)
The Research Analyst position involves the following main duties:
- Undertaking client liaison and project management tasks
- Organising and conducting qualitative and quantitative research fieldwork
- Analysing, reporting and presenting qualitative and quantitative research findings
- Supporting Research Directors and other research consultants
- Supervisory responsibility for administrative staff and/or research assistants
The following skills/ attributes are required for this position:

- Strong quantitative analytical skills
- A strong sense of personal responsibility, as well as good time management and organisational skills
- An outstanding client service ethic
- An interest in contributing to a cohesive and highly performing research team
The successful applicant will need a good undergraduate or postgraduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience which has enabled the person to develop and demonstrate the abovementioned skills/ attributes. Market and social research industry experience is not required.
Commencing salary package: negotiable depending on skills and experience of successful applicants. Indicative range: $60,000-$70,000 p.a.
